British Summer Time Begins
British Summer Time begins today, Sunday 29th March.
It has been easy to forget this fact over the last month as our world has changed forever with Covid19 spreading to all countries. Here in the U.K. we have been on lockdown for a week only going out for essential food and to excercise. Social distancing is the new norm and generally to stay indoors and away from other people. Our hearts go out to everyone in isolation and our thanks go to the many front line people who are working hard to save all our lives.
British Summer Time is a mechanism to make the most of increased summer daylight hours in the northern hemisphere. See the link below for further explanation.
