The Stag and Hounds - Burrough on the Hill
The Stag and Hounds pub is located in Burroughon the Hill, near Melton Mowbray. It has recently been taken over by a young couple who have breathed new life into this beautiful country pub. It has a great selection of local beers and an award winning chef. You really do get a very warm welcome from Dom and Antonia and the food is absolutely amazing.
They were just finding their feet and building up regular clients when Covid 19 struck. However they very quickly turned things around and started a take-away service. Brilliant menu. You can either collect or they will deliver within a small radius from the pub. They have had huge support from local people to help keep their business going and I for one support them whole heartly. Friday night is Fish and Chips and I can hardly wait.
Looking forward to them re-opening and a glass of wine around the fire with a buzz of chatter.
